Pastel Workshops

Take a Pastel Workshop taught by Jacqueline Meyerson and learn about pastel techniques in a small group setting.  Workshops are given at Blick Art Materials in Allentown, PA and Hobby Lobby in Easton, Pa.

You will learn:

• Basic pastel techniques
• How to choose your pastels
• Types of papers
• What supplies are needed
• Drawing techniques
• Color and values
• Shadows and highlights
• Subject matter
• How to make your painting come to life

No matter if you never held a pastel in your hand or are experienced you will grow at your own pace.  Jacqueline, a member of the Pastel Society of America, will guide you through your project to reach your maximum potential.

Space is limited so reserve your seat now.  Table easels are supplied.  You will need to bring your own materials (a suggested supply list is available).

Workshops are given in 6 week sessions for $95. per person.  Workshops are rolling sessions so you can start at any time and take as many sessions as you like.  Payment must be made in full with application and pre-paid for all subsequent sessions.

Still Life Workshop

This workshop will include:

• A Live Still Life Setting
• Drawing Techniques
• Shading
• Lighting
• Colors and Values
• Individual Guidance

Students are required to bring their own easels (French or Plein Air), pastels, paper, drawing board or foam board with tape, etc..  If you don't have all these items or need suggestions on what to bring or any other questions feel free to call or email.
